Hi there, I am Zuzana, passionate about research and a plant-based lifestyle. I am a stay-at-home mom of four beautiful girls and an energetic rescue dog. Next to my passion for my family, I regularly create content for my Instagram page @zuzusrawjourney. I have a master’s degree in Agricultural Economics, a master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, and a Ph.D. in the politics of controversial scientific innovations. In addition, I am a certified Raw Food Educator by Drs. Rick and Karin Dina.
Combing my career as a researcher with my responsibilities as a mother was not always easy for me. In 2015, I found myself exhausted. I suffered from anxiety and insomnia and could not keep up with my ambitions. Although this period seemed the worst in my life, it became a blessing. It forced me to rethink my life priories and focus on my true desires. My biggest project ever: The project myself. During this period, my exhausted body led me to adopt the plant-based diet, and soon after, I became very passionate about the high carb, low fat raw vegan lifestyle. I have been fruit based vegan since 2015, and this experience has changed my life. This lifestyle has been helping me to uncover many negative patterns and beliefs I had about food (especially my food-restrictive mentality) and myself as a woman. Therefore, I created this website to empower women, mothers, and young girls worldwide to overcome limiting thoughts regarding food and their identity.
In today’s society, many women have an unhealthy relationship with food. It is generally accepted that calorie-restrictive diets are necessary for maintaining a healthy weight. This mindset has resulted in many women and young girls feeling depressed, powerless, and suffering from various mental and physical discomfort. Women and girls, I challenge you to revisit your relationship with yourself and the food you eat and join me in recreating the best version of yourself.
